The Fidya and Fitrana 2024 Pakistan amount for Ramadan 2024 has been announced by prominent religious figure Mufti Muneebur Rehman.
Fitrana is required for all Muslims (including infants and children) living in any household with excess food and savings.
However, the payment itself must be made by the head of the household, on behalf of themselves and their dependents.
Also, the muslims are required to pay Fidya when they miss a fast due to illness, travel, or other reasons.
It’s because observing all 30 fasts during the holy month is mandatory for all believers. The Fidya amount for this 2024 is as follows.

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordained Zakat al Fitr [Fitrana] to purify the fasting person from indecent words or actions, and to provide food for the needy. It is accepted as Zakat for the person who gives it before the Eid prayer, but it is a mere Sadaqah for the one who gives it after the prayer.”
