Elvish Yadav has been involved in several issues after winning Bigg Boss OTT 2, including his recent incarceration in the snake poison case.

The reality show star’s bail hearing was scheduled on Wednesday in a local court in Noida, but it was postponed. 

Elvish Yadav News: once again brought to the Surajpur Court from the district jail 

Elvish Yadav had been taken to Surajpur Court from Greater Noida’s state jail on Thursday morning. He was summoned to modify a charge lodged by police against him.

Elvish Yadav news about the removal of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances statute (NDPS) from his case spread on Thursday after the police admitted to filling out the improper part of the statute on Elvish Yadav. 

Elvish Yadav’s Bail Hearing Postponed; NDPS Act Charge Amended, Not Removed

However, the NDPS Act has not been repealed. Only one charge, under section 8/20, has been changed to 8/22 of the NDPS Act. Because section 8/20 addresses penalty for contraventions involving ‘cannabis plants and cannabis exclusively’.

Elvish Yadav’s case is related to ‘Snake Venom’, which is also covered by the NDPS Act, but in Section 8/22, which deals with penalties for violating ‘Psychotropic Substances’. This section is also non-bailable, as is Section 8/20.  

He was detained on March 17th and placed in judicial prison for 14 days. His arrest is based on the Wild Life Protection Act. Furthermore, in an unexpected change of events, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner revealed to that he was involved in the snake venom case. 

The reality show star was then hauled to a local court in Noida for his bail hearing, but he has yet to be granted relief. According to sources, the hearing had to be postponed due to an ongoing strike by the local bar association, which prevented the court from advancing with the necessary steps.

Furthermore, sources indicate related to  Elvish’s lawyer news, Gaurav Bhatia, got into a heated fight with local lawyers. Videos of Elvish’s parents disputing the claims against their son have also appeared online.

Elvish Yadav was arrested on Sunday (March 17) for his involvement in the rave party controversy, and two more arrests have occurred since then.

The Uttar Pradesh police recently nabbed two more suspects, Vinay and Ishwar. The former is Elvish’s close friend and manages a restaurant in Gurugram. The latter claims he has never met the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner. He was moved from a quarantine cell to a high-security barracks.

Elvish Yadav’s legal troubles continue as the NDPS Act charge in his case is amended, confirming that it has not been erased. His bail hearing has been delayed due to current events.
