On Wednesday, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif directed a thorough joint inquiry into the Shangla suicide attack on Chinese nationals working on the Dassu Hydel Power Project, utilizing all state resources.
The prime minister expressed sincere condolences over Shangla Attack to the relatives of the innocent victims of the attack and promised that the perpetrators of this brutal act would be brought to justice quickly.
The prime minister, who presided over a high-level emergency conference in the aftermath of the Shangla terrorist attack on Chinese nationals, praised the speed with which law enforcement authorities and locals reacted to the incident, protecting many lives that could have been lost.
Concerned about the safety of Chinese nationals in Pakistan, the spokesperson promised that the government is closely engaged in conversation with China and “will ensure all possible security measures for Chinese residents within the country”.
Furthermore, the spokesperson stated that a full investigation into the Bisham incident was being conducted to appropriately resolve the problem.
