On Wednesday, ARY News reported that a 20-year-old man was hospitalized after suffering significant injuries as a result of a loose kite string in Karachi’s Azizabad district.
According to a police statement, the 20-year-old guy, named Awais, was riding a motorcycle when he was entangled by a kite string in Azizabad.
The police said he was taken to a hospital, where his medical condition was believed to be stable.

The incident comes after the Punjab police intensified their crackdown on kite flying across the province adhering to the murder of a young man in Faisalabad as a result of errant kite strings.
The kite-string death incidents caused Punjab Chief Minister (PM) Maryam Nawaz to impose a ban on the production, sale, and purchase of chemical strings used in kites.
Two days ago, authorities discovered an online kite sales network and detained five people in connection with a series of killings in Faisalabad.
At a news briefing, City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Ali Zia stated that Asif Shafiq of Samanabad was traveling on the Novelty overhead bridge in the Factory Area police boundaries when the string caused a significant injury to his throat, killing him instantly.
Special police teams were formed, and an inquiry was launched along scientific lines. Five primary suspects were detained.
The police used CCTV footage to determine that an accused Muhammad Abid Gujjar, a resident of Sir Syed Town, was flying a kite on the rooftop of Punjab Bank on that same day.
The footage of the tragic occurrence went viral on WhatsApp and other social media platforms, prompting widespread condemnation of the authorities for failing to control the illegal game.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took notice of the event and directed the police to arrest those responsible.
The police filed a FIR and began operations against the perpetrators.
The police had organized two high-level teams under the command of SSP Investigation, and the matter was probed with CCTV cameras and other sources
