Headline: Amid claims that Salman Khan is filing a defamation case against comedian Kunal Kamra, a new report has said that the actor has no such plans.

According to certain sources, Salman Khan will bring a defamation case against stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra for making jokes about his personality.

Despite this, Kunal refused to apologize for his comments. According to Zoom, Salman has no plans to sue Kunal over nasty jokes he made about the star.

Why Salman Khan isn’t suing Kunal Kamra

According to Zoom, a close friend of Salman stated that discussing a slander case is simply hogwash. The friend stated, “If he (Salman Khan) sued everyone who abused him, he’d be in and out of courtrooms. Salman has grown to accept his controversial and attackable image over the years.

He understands that invoking his name, particularly in a disparaging context, draws attention. So, no, he’s not suing this guy (Kunal Kamra),” adding, “His father, Salim Khan, advises him (Salman) to overlook insults. Salim Saab informs Salman, “They are just a way of getting attention.”

Kunal was seen taking potshots at Salman during one of his recent performances, and self-proclaimed film critic Kamaal R Khan or KRK recently published the video on X. After KRK reported that Salman plans to sue Kunal for defamation, the comedian responded by tweeting, “I am not a flying bird or a stationary footpath and I don’t apologise for jokes anymore…”

In the video, Kunal mocks Salman’s role in controversies as well as the reality programs he hosts, Bigg Boss and Bigg Boss OTT; Kunal also mimics the actor. He previously stated, “There was a time when comedians were afraid of Salman Khan… everyone says don’t joke about Salman.” He can smack a woman, and we can’t mock him?”

However, according to the current developments, KRK’s assertion is false, and the Bollywood star would not sue Kamra.

He understands that invoking his name, particularly in a disparaging context, draws attention. So, no, he’s not suing Kunal Kamra.

A few months ago, Salman Khan became entangled in court disputes with a self-proclaimed film critic known for his negative reviews. However, according to a close source, Salman’s efforts were ultimately ineffective. Khan’s father, Salim Khan, taught him to ignore such remarks, saying that they are simply attention-seeking strategies.

On the job front, Salman Khan was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’ with Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. The actor is currently cooperating with Karan Johar on ‘The Bull’, which will be helmed by Vishnuvardhan, who previously directed ‘Shershaah’. ‘The Bull’ is expected to be released on Christmas 2024, and fans are quite excited.

Conclusion

Salman Khan’s supposed defamation action against Kunal Kamra has been discredited, demonstrating the actor’s determination to overlook slander. Despite the controversy, Khan’s emphasis remains on new projects such as ‘The Bull’, displaying his dedication to film despite media scrutiny.
